January 8th, 2010…A new year and a new look for the Frisco Blackhawks I league team. The much anticipated official Jerseys have arrived from Canada and certainly pumped up the energy for the team and crowed alike. The game was thrilling to watch as there were four very close almost goals made by Liz Miller, Lindsey McCarthy, Melody Roumell and Mark Wampler. The overall score was 3 – 1 with the Blackhawks goal being made by Sean Hurley. While the Rookies did walk away with a second win against the Blackhawks the Blackhawks have certainly tightened up the overall ability of the team.
Only one game remains before the seasons playoffs begin. Be sure to watch on January 22, 2010 at the Dallas Stars McKinney North location at 8:45pm, to enjoy what is sure to be a challenging game between the Blackhawks I league and the MK Moose.
